NGINX

NGINX is a web server that can also be used as a reverse proxy, load balancer, mail proxy and HTTP cache. This setup is recommended if your APIs are routed by NGINX.

You can deploy Akto in your cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and do the NGINX integration to collect API traffic for API inventory and testing.

You can attach Akto traffic collector module to your NGINX setup for API traffic. This module will collect your API traffic and send to Akto dashboard. It has minimal performance impact and it only takes 5-10 minutes. Once you set this up, Akto will process traffic to create an API Inventory in real time. You can deploy in the environment of your choice.
